List of licenced vendors / devices for "Thunderbolt Share"

Dear Intel,

1) Where is the list of licensed manufacturers / sellers / devices for "Thunderbolt Share"?

2) When will you allow non-manufacturers and users to purchase a licence?

Currently it is not acceptable to buy brand new IT devices from e.g. Lenovo, Dell in 2025 without Thunderbolt Share licence.

Thank you very much!

Hi Howards-L,

List of Licensed Manufacturers/Sellers/Devices for Thunderbolt:

Intel, the developer of Thunderbolt technology, typically licenses it to major hardware manufacturers. Companies like Dell, HP, Lenovo, etc are known to produce devices with Thunderbolt ports. However, there isn't a specific "Thunderbolt Share" feature, so there wouldn't be a list for that. For general Thunderbolt licensing, you can refer to the following links:

Licensing for Non-Manufacturers and Users:

Licensing for Thunderbolt technology is generally handled at the manufacturer level. End-users typically do not need to purchase a separate license to use Thunderbolt-enabled devices. If there is a new feature or licensing model being introduced, it would be best to check the specific device manufacturers for the most current information.
