Hello Frigyes,

Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.

Thunderbolt Share requires that either one of the PCs or one of your connected Thunderbolt devices be Thunderbolt Share licensed from the manufacturer.

To make sure if your PC or Accessory is Thunderbolt™ Share licensed, check with the manufacturer, as Thunderbolt™ Share will be listed as a supported feature for that specific model.

Thunderbolt Share "Licensed" is different from "Thunderbolt Certified".

There are many Thunderbolt 4 certified PCs and Thunderbolt 4 certified docks, monitors, etc.; however, in addition to being Thunderbolt 4 or Thunderbolt 5 certified, either one of your PCs or Thunderbolt Accessory (i.e. dock, monitor, etc.) must be Thunderbolt Share licensed.

If you already confirmed with your system manufacturer that your system devices are not Thunderbolt Share Licensed, OWC Go dock and Cable Matters have released Thunderbolt 4 docks that are Thunderbolt Share licensed. If you can get one of those docks, then Thunderbolt Share SW will work for your setup.

Hello Frigyes,

As I have not heard from you for the past few days. To make sure if your PC or Accessory is Thunderbolt™ Share licensed, check with the manufacturer, as Thunderbolt™ Share will be listed as a supported feature for that specific model.

I will proceed in closing this thread now. Should you need assistance in the future, please submit a new question as this thread will no longer be monitored.

Sincerely,
