Yellow Bang on Intel B860 chipset with TCSS enabled

There is a yellow bang observed on chipset B860 with Intel TCSS enabled. The yellow bang device is Bus 0, Dev 13, Fun 0. This symptom can also be observed on CRB. Is there any on can help ?

  • May I know the exact processor you're using on this Intel B869 chipset?
  • What is the exact motherboard do you have?
  • What are the troubleshooting steps you have taken to try and resolve the issue?

Hi Earl,

  Actually, this issue is not about processor. It is related to the PCH chipset.

We had solved this issue. After reading the Thunderbolt white paper, we set TCSS port 2 as Fixed DP in ME setting and the yellow bang issue disappeared!
