My computer keeps shutting itself down and the error report tells me to upgrade Pro wireless 2100. I do not have that, I have WiFi Link 4965 AGN. (I have checked and it has it's latest driver) Also when I try to use the driver update utility I can not get it to work. When I try to do it they way it says manually then it shuts down my Internet Explorer. Can any one help? Thank you

Hello mlhayward,
Can you tell me what Operating System are you using?
Now, if you are having issues running the "Intel® Driver Update Utility", follow the steps below:
- Download the ActiveX*/Java* installer from this URL: http://content.systemrequirementslab.com.s3.amazonaws.com/global/bin/intel_srldetect_4.5.5.0.msi http://content.systemrequirementslab.com.s3.amazonaws.com/global/bin/intel_srldetect_4.5.5.0.msi to install the ActiveX/Java component manually.
- Click Run.
- Follow the on-screen instructions. When the installation is complete, the progress bar and installation box will disappear.
- Click Close to exit this dialog box.
- Click Check your system for the latest updates to run the Intel® Driver Update Utility again.
Have you also tried removing the "Intel(R) Proset Wireless" completelly from the system?
Please let me know.
Cheers!
