I have a 4965agn that is connected to a Dlink DIR-825. The dlink router page says I am connected at 300mbps with 90% signal and on 802.11n, but when I try and transfer a file wirelessly I get no more than 32mbps. Whats frustrating is that earler in the year I had a DIR-628 that was able to transfer files at 64mbps. I'm not expecting to transfer at a full 300mbps, but 32mbps is not why I bought a new router.
Can anyone offer any help?
I am running: 2.4 and 5ghz networks.
WPA2 encryption with AES
Channel width is Auto
QoS is on
Router Firmware updated
Wireless adapter I have tried numerous drivers, including the latest.
WMM is enabled
Wireless Adapter I have used all the recommended settings.
Dlink could not find any other settings to help boost my speed.
Thanks a lot
