I have a new Dell laptop. After fighting with Dell because the original wireless card would not connect to wireless N they finally agreed to upgrade my card to an Intel Centrino 6250 Advanced N wireless card. Now I can connect at N rates (72mps) but still far less than the 150mps that my friend gets connected to my network with his Asus laptop. I have searched the forums and followed the recommended settings on the intel site but can't get the higher connectivity I expected. As I stated my friend gets 150mps connected to my network which rules out the router settings, it must be somewhere in the settings for my wireless card itself.
