The channels that can be used by the Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 and other Intel® Wireless Adapters are as defined by the relevant specification and country rules.
It is important to mention that Channels 12, 13 and 14 of the 2.4 GHz band are not allowed in most countries around the world.
For this reason, the available channels in your PC depend on the regulations of the country it was meant to be used and the configuration from the Computer Manufacturer.
We advise you to check the
http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/topics/OEMs.html Computer Manufacturer Support, they will let you know which channels can be used by your PC, and if they have a way to change this.
