AX201 unable to start

Hi! That's a problem I'm having from about 2 years, one day my laptop's AX201 just started crashing under load and I tried posting on forums and everything but I haven't found any solutions to this, I just switched to an usb wifi adapter and forgot about the issue. Today i checked and the card wasn't even being acknowledged by the settings app, I checked the iwlwifi logs and there were some LMAC and UMAC firmware crashes, The card's bluetooth part works perfectly and I'm using fedora (When the card's wifi part was still usable I checked on ubuntu and it also had the same crashes). When i tried restaring iwlwifi but the `disable_power_management` flag set to 0 it appeared in rfkill and the settings app but it wasn't usable(I could turn it on but no networks were shown, nmcli showed the card as "unavailable"). I will attach logs from both the normal iwlwifi launch and the disable power management one.

Hello rebok4,,

Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.

To properly investigate this issue and provide you with appropriate troubleshooting steps, I'll need to review the logs you shared from both the normal iwlwifi launch and the disabled power management configuration.

I'll also need some additional system information for a complete analysis. I'll send you a private message with instructions on how to submit the logs and gather additional diagnostic information. Be sure to check your inbox, as well as your spam and junk folders, as the message might have been directed there.

Looking forward to your reply via email.

Best regards,

Hello rebok4,

Thank you for providing the SSU log file. To continue troubleshooting this issue, could you please clarify the following:

  1. Is this the original WiFi adapter that shipped with your system, or was it recently replaced/upgraded?
  2. Have you tested with the most recent stable kernel version?

Your response will help guide the next troubleshooting steps.

Best regards,
