AX210 Wifi Random Disconnect

Hi,

I've been using the AX210 wifi card for awhile and have noticed random disconnects from my wifi from normal use and while gaming.

I've tried rolling back to previous drivers like the 22.110.1 and still repeats the same problem.

Included also is my SSU logs

Hello peruz,

Thank you for posting in Intel community Forum.

For me to further check this, please help provide the following details:

  1. What is the brand and model of your system?
  2. Did you change any settings or was there any hardware change before the issue started?
  3. Did you manually install this wireless controller on your system or this is embedded in your system?
  4. Just to clarify, this only happen when gaming? When you are watching online or browsing, there is no issue?
  5. Aside from rolling back the driver, what are the other troubleshooting steps that you tried?

If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.

1. I'm using a custom built pc that I built my self

2. I did follow some steps in Reddit which modify the WiFi settings

https://www.reddit.com/r/pop_os/comments/163bbrb/slow_wifi_speeds_with_ax210/

3.The WiFi card is installed in a pcie adapter manually by myself

4. I usually notice this when I game, but this also happens when I'm in discord or when playing YouTube videos....there's like a sudden 1-3 disconnect and it'll reconnect all the sudden or I'll have to turn off and turn on the WiFi through the settings, then I'll get my WiFi back

5. I haven't done anything  other than rolling back the drivers

Hello peruz,

Thank you for the update.

Let me gather additional details about your set up.

  1. What is the brand and model of your motherboard?
  2. Can you take a photo of the wireless card for me to check if this is an Intel brand card?

If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.

Hello peruz,

I hope this message finds you well.

Upon further checking, it appears that that you did a self-integration of the Intel Wireless card to the motherboard PRIME X570-P - Tech Specs|Motherboards|ASUS Malaysia. Upon checking it also, the card is having issues returning with a invalid value to the system. Because of this, let me refer you to the the link below for more information on installing or upgrading a wireless card:

Regulatory Information Regarding Wireless Hardware Installation or...

Since it is best that you contact the manufacturer of the board for further assistance, I need to close this inquiry.

If you need further assistance, please post a new question as this thread will no longer be monitored.

Thank you and have a great day.
