AX210NGW LED signals

I think the AX210NGW has two LED signals on the M.2 E key.
LED1# (6 pin) indicates the Wi-Fi status.
Does LED2# (16 pin) indicate the Bluetooth status ?
Is LED2# not working ?

Hello Yamagy,

Thank you for posting in Intel community Forum.

For me to better understand and diagnose the issue further, let me ask you to provide detailed responses to the following questions. This information will help me isolate the problem and determine the most appropriate course of action moving forward.

  1. Can you tell me more about this inquiry?
  2. Are you designing system with embedded AX210?
  3. Are you also asking for the pinout on the LED light?
  4. Or you have a system and the LED of the embedded AX210 is not working?

If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.

Best regards,

Dear Michael

Thank you for your reply.

I am designing an embedded device using the Jetson Orin NX.
I understand that the pinout for a general M.2 E-Key is as follows:
https://w.electrodragon.com/w/M.2_Pins#M.2_Key_E

On the AX210NGW, I have confirmed that pin 6 (LED1#) indicates Wi-Fi status.
  Low Level: Wi-Fi connect
  High-Z(Open Drain): Not connect

I assumed that pin 16 (LED2#) indicates BT status, but even when the AX210 connects to a BT device, the signal on pin 16 remains fixed at High-Z.
Please let me know if my assumption regarding pin 16 behavior is incorrect.

By the way, Wi-Fi and BT work without any issues when using the AX210NGW with the Jetson Orin NX.

Best regards,

Yamagy

From EPS publicly available on https://fcc.report (whether it should be or not).

Bluetooth LED functionality:

1. LED is OFF when the Bluetooth is in HW or SW RF kill (SW RF kill means also driver disable, etc.).
2. LED is ON otherwise.

Wi-Fi LED functionality:

1. LED is OFF when the Wi-Fi is not powered or in RF kill.
2. LED is ON otherwise.

Hope this helps,
...S

Hello Yamagy,

Thank you for the quick reply.

Regarding pin assignment and other interfacing information about wireless products. We have a different department who have that information.

You need to contact Intel® Resource & Documentation Center (RDC). Please refer to the link below:
