I am experiencing issues with multiple devices not responding during re-authentication. This is only an issue on the SSID using EAP. Regular 802.1x and PSK work without issue. Initial authentication is fine. When the re-authentication process occurs the client stops responding and the user needs to manually reconnect to the SSID. This has been experienced across both a Cisco Aironet and Meraki environment.
Devices used all with AX211 adapters:
Dell Inspiron 5420
Dell Latitude 5430
Dell Latitude 5530
Dell Latitude 5540
Driver versions tested:
22.200.2.1
22.250.0.4
This issue looks to be almost exactly the same as this post with only the adapter being a different model

cvinje, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.
We are sorry to hear about this issue and we will be more than glad to assist you with this matter.
In order for us to provide the most accurate assistance on this scenario, we just wanted to confirm a few details about your system:
Are those new computers?
Were they working fine before without showing the reauthentication failing issue that you are describing?
If yes, when did the issue start?
Did you make any recent hardware/software changes that might cause this problem?
The wireless cards, were they purchased separately or did they come installed on the computers?
Does the problem happen at home or in the work environment?
Please attach the SSU report, from at least one of the computers in question, so we can verify further details about the components in your platform, check all the options in the report including the one that says "3rd party software logs":

Any questions, please let me know.

These are new laptops and the issue has always been present for them. They were first deployed several months ago. The wireless card is OEM to Dell. I am not aware of the issue happening at the users home but then again I highly doubt they are using Enterprise auth. Like I mentioned before though, we have seen this issue at 2 different offices with 2 different wireless infrastructures. Please see the SSU report attached.

cvinje, Thank you very much for providing that information and the SSU report.
Based on the information shown in the SSU document and as you mentioned, we can confirm that the wireless driver version currently installed on your computer is 22.250.0.4.
It is important to mention that we always recommend to install the wireless driver provided by the manufacturer of the computer, since that driver was heavily customized by them to work with your specific platform. I looked on Dell's website and the latest wireless driver version they have available is 22.250.0.4, A35, which is the one currently installed:
There is a new Intel® wireless driver we have available, version 23.10.0.8. Please try a clean installation of that driver following the instructions in the links below:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000022173/wireless.html
We also recommend to get in contact directly with Dell Support to make sure the latest BIOS version is currently installed on your machine or, if necessary, to gather the instructions on how to update it:
https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us
Once you get the chance, please let us know the results.

followed the procedure and did clean install of drivers. after installing new drivers, issue was persisting more frequent than before (SSU logs attached).
then I installed latest BIOS available for the laptop and rebooted the laptop. After BIOS update, I had to re-login once again after getting authenticated and then after its stable. (SSU logs attached of post Drivers and BIOS update).
Looks the reconnect issue reduced but not solved completely. (It is asking 1 time after successful auto authentication).

Hello aghalib, I just received an update on this matter.
While we are still working on this scenario, we just wanted to confirm if you can share the following logs:
Windows event viewer:
- OS- WLAN Auto-Config log, the .evtx file (clear previous log before reproducing issue), save all events log without filter.
- OS- Wireless ETW log, the .cab file <--The ETW .cab log automatically collects WLAN Auto-Config log
