BT_Win10_64_17.1.1529.1620.exe seems to work fine.
But with Wireless_Win10_64_18.12.4.exe - I get this error:
"This device cannot start. (Code 10)
STATUS_DEVICE_POWER_FAILURE"
If I reinstall the previous version, 17.1.1529.1620, then everything seems fine again.

Whoops. Correction:
"But with Wireless_Win10_64_18.12.4.exe - I get this error:"
Should be:

Sorry, I copied the wrong file name.
Also, it would be nice to get confirmation from Intel that this is a driver issue and not a problem with my NUC.
I would think the hardware is fine, as the previous version of the driver seems to operate without issue.
But it's also not impossible that a newer version of a driver can expose an underlying hardware issue.
(It would also be nice to know, if this is a driver issue, that this driver won't be pushed onto my NUC through windows update.)
Lastly, I would post a link to the old version, found on another site (SHA-1 matches), but I'm not sure if that is permitted.
The original link seems to be gone:

Hi,
I get the same error after installing Bluetooth driver 18.1.1535.1946.
I do have an Intel NUC NUC5i5RYH.
Also I do have an issue with the latest Wi-Fi driver: I even cannot start the setup, it just nothing happens - Intel Wi-Fi driver version 18.12.4 - anyone has the same?
Thanks
Sevi: "Also I do have an issue with the latest Wi-Fi driver: I even cannot start the setup, it just nothing happens - Intel Wi-Fi driver version 18.12.4 - anyone has the same?"
Yes, I hadn't even noticed until I used the Intel® Driver Update Utility http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect Intel® Driver Update Utility
The v18 driver seems to do nothing. My Wi-Fi driver version is v17 something.
Hello cyb0rg,
You may try this drivers https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25405/Bluetooth-Intel-Bluetooth-drivers-for-Intel-NUC Download Bluetooth: Intel® Bluetooth drivers for Intel® NUC and https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24268/Bluetooth-Intel-Bluetooth-drivers-for-Intel-NUC Download Bluetooth: Intel® Bluetooth drivers for Intel® NUC
Please let me know if issue persists.

"This device cannot start. (Code 10)
STATUS_DEVICE_POWER_FAILURE"
BTW, The http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect Intel® Driver Update Utility says to update to the second, non-working driver (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/downloads/eula/24268/Bluetooth-Intel-Bluetooth-drivers-for-Intel-NUC?httpDown=https://downloadmirror.intel.com/24268/eng/BT_Win10_64_18.1.1535.1946.exe BT_Win10_64_18.1.1535.1946.exe).
(It also recommends updating to the (18.12.4) non-installing WiFi driver, but perhaps that should be in its own topic.)

The 18.1.1535.1946 seems to be gone from the Download site.
For the Wi-Fi I will open another thread.
Thx.

Hi
Getting the same error on a NUC 5i7RYH, windows 10-64bit, download and installed the latest driver: BT_Win10_64_17.1.1532.1814, tried every solution posted here and the device still gives error STATUS_DEVICE_POWER_FAILURE.
Help needed
Hello Gaspar,
Please try uninstalling current Bluetooth* driver and install this one https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25310/Wireless-Intel-Wireless-adapter-drivers-for-Intel-NUC Download Wireless: Intel® Wireless adapter drivers for Intel® NUC
Regards,
Caesar B.
Thanks Cesar, problem partially solved. The error (exclamation point) in the device manager is missing , but the bluetooth still doesn't work.
The device manager window flickers (seems like a refresh procedure) and I can't find the bluetooth device next to the Dual band wireless and the ethernet connection, is it supposed to be there?
The devive manager window:

I have just bought an ASUS GL552VW and I have the same problema with the Bluetooth
Este dispositivo no puede iniciar. (Código 10)
STATUS_DEVICE_POWER_FAILURE
My driver is 18.1.1539.2349
I add a picture with showing the problema.
I cannot install the old driver which you mention above because Windows says it cannot install old drivers. What can I do? Any suggestion?
Hola, SergioMT:
Gracias,
Esteban C
