Availability of firmware for the BE201 connectivity card

It seems that firmware required for this WiFi/BT combo card hasn't been pushed to iwlwifi/linux-firmware yet.
I am writing this message to request firmware required to use it on Linux: "iwlwifi-gl-a0-fm-c0-(80..90).ucode" (required by iwlwifi) and "intel/ibt-0040-0291.sfi" (required by btintel).

Thanks in advance!

Hello chimac,

I wanted to inform you that Intel wireless firmware and drivers depend on specific Linux kernel versions. Only certain versions of the firmware and drivers are guaranteed to work with particular kernel versions, and we support drivers only for the kernel version they were designed for.

The wireless device requires firmware to operate. Firmware usually ships with your distribution, or you can download it from the repository firmware git tree. Each download provides firmware under its own license.

Hi,

The firmware for any version of the kernel would be appreciated! I don't see any commit for BE201 on the linux-firmware repository for the Bluetooth radio. Can you please give a more satisfactory answer to this question?

Thank you!
