BE201 is not functioning properly

  • Is this a first-time setup that is not working with Ubuntu 24.04, or did it previously function correctly and the issue arose recently?
  • If it worked previously, what changes were made before the issue occurred?
  • Is the Intel® Wi-Fi 7 BE201 pre-installed on your ASUS system, or is it an upgrade component?
  • Please share your system configuration to assist with further investigation. You can do this by downloading the Intel® System Support Utility for the Linux* Operating System. Please check the Help Guide for the Intel® System Support Utility on how to generate the log file.

After thoroughly examining the issue and the computer's specifications, I've noted that it is only compatible with Windows OS.

 

Could you confirm whether the wireless connection functioned properly with Windows in the past? You can check the specifications here: ASUS Vivobook S 14 OLED S5406.

 

If the wireless connection operates correctly with Windows, could you share the reason for switching to or using Linux?

Thank you for your response.

It functions correctly under Windows;

however, I currently aim to use the Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 258V processor for SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) development work, which requires switching to a Linux environment. The lack of wireless connectivity will significantly hinder my workflow.
