I'm on Windows 8.1, I installed the Bluetooth software and the WiFi software several times, uninstalled/reinstalled the drivers several times, I've ensured that I'm on the latest bios, I've tried the generic windows BT driver, and it refuses to work. The driver always gets a code 43 or a code 10 seconds after installing. Screenshots attached.
Is this a known issue? Is there any way of fixing it? Should I be returning the card until a version comes out with the kinks worked out?
Thank you for letting us know about this. We are aware of some similar issues with code 43 and we are currently working on a solution. Some users reported better results with an older version of http://www.intel.com/support/wireless/wtech/proset-ws/sb/CS-034060.htm Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software for Bluetooth.
There is also the possibility of a compatibility issue if the wireless adapter was installed as an aftermarket upgrade; in which case, we recommend contacting the system manufacturer for a list of validated adapters.

Thanks for your response Joe, I've tried older versions of PROset/Wireless for BT to no avail. Is there an ETA on the fix? I need to know if I should be returning this card within the return window. I'd certainly prefer to keep it if there will be a fix soon, as the 801.11ac on the card is very fast and stable for me.
The new version of Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software for Bluetooth® technology is now available.
