Hello, I cannot find the 6Ghz wifi in the network list.
Network adapter: Killer(R) Wi-Fi 6E Ax1675x 160MHz Wireless Network Adapter (210NGW)
Version: 23.100.0.4
I downloaded the latest driver from the following site, but still do not see 6Ghz on the list.
https://www.dell.com/support/product-details/ja-jp/product/xps-8950-desktop/drivers
I am using xps-8950 computer.
I know it is not a router problem because 6Ghz appears for my other computer.
Please help me in what I can do to get 6Ghz to appear.
2Ghz and 5Ghz appear on the network list, but just 6Ghz does not appear.

Hi Tommy7,
I understand that you're trying to connect to the 6Ghz band frequency but it's not on the list. Please share the information below for me to address this properly.
1. Were you able to connect to 6ghz band previously?
2. Did you make any recent changes to the system?
3. Is this the original adapter that came pre-installed in your system, or have you changed/installed a new adapter recently?
Additionally, to have a better understanding of your system configuration and components please generate System Support Utility (SSU) report. Please follow instructions here and send the report - How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows*
I hope to hear from you soon.
Best regards,

Hello Jed,
1. Were you able to connect to 6ghz band previously?
No
2. Did you make any recent changes to the system?
No
3. Is this the original adapter that came pre-installed in your system, or have you changed/installed a new adapter recently?
It is pre-installed in the system.
It mentions in the following link, that it supports 6ghz, so I am confused why it will not work:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/211485/intel-killer-wifi-6e-ax1675-xw/specifications.html
I have also sent the SSU report to you in private message.

Hi Tommy7,
I appreciate you for sharing all this information. Please note that Usage of the 6 GHz band relies on Microsoft Windows* (Windows® 11) Operating System support. Please contact Microsoft for additional details.
Furthermore, regulatory bodies in some countries prohibit using the 6 GHz band. It also may not be enabled on your platform by the system manufacturer (Dell). Intel recommends checking if your country's regulations allow the usage of the 6 GHz band and if the system manufacturer has enabled devices to support the 6 GHz band in your country.
For reference: How to Enable 6 GHz Band Using Intel® Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7 Products
Should you have other questions or concerns, please let me know.
Best regards,

Hi Tommy7,
I also checked your computer specifications and I was able to confirm that the frequency bands are 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz only, as detailed on page 16 of the computer manual. Please contact DELL for further assistance.
Should you have other questions or concerns, please create a new thread as this thread will no longer be monitored.
