Cannot install intel pro wireless 3945abg

I have a Toshiba Satellite notebook.

 

So, since today my wireless adapter stopped working. It's yellow led not shown, in my network places the wireless connection has dissapeared. I cannot install the driver, it wont load. From the device manager i have even deleted and updated, but with no results. I did also a fresh reinstall of my OS (Xp sp2). Where is the problem, it's a hardware one, or ?

 

I've seen many people facing this, but with not a good solution. Many thanks .

does it has any x mark under device manager ?

or you can try contacting toshiba for any latest driver if they have
