Centrino Advanced-N 6235 Wireless Card

I have a Dell Inspiron 1545 with a Broadcom wireless card that needs replacing. (BCM94312hmg). I am running the Zorin (Linux) OS. I need to know if I can replace it with the Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235 Wireless Card. As far as I have been able to find out, it should work, but wanted an expert's second opinion. Thanks for your time,
