Code 10 on Intel(R) Wireless-AC 9461

About a day ago my internet went out, so I checked my device manager. Next to my Intel(R) Wireless-AC 9461 driver it had a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in it. I checked the properties of it and it said:

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

{Operation Failed}
The requested operation was unsuccessful.
I tried uninstalling and restarting, cold rebooting, clean installations, updating it with this, and removing any hardware before it happened, to no avail. Can you help me?image_2022-06-26_152313526.pngimage_2022-06-26_152326735.pngneither of these workedneither of these worked

Hello Leastyto,

Thank you for posting on the Intel️® communities.

Since you have tried solving your issue via software and even hardware, the issue persists. It would indicate that there may be a hardware problem; contact your original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for additional support.

So this means I have to either get my laptop repaired or buy a new one?

Hello Leastyto,

Thanks for your response.

My suggestion to contact the OEM is so you can receive further troubleshooting support regarding your issue. The issue seems related to hardware; however, your OEM may have other software support that may help solve the problem.

Also, if you like, you can create a report using the Intel System Support Utility (Intel SSU); so I can look through it and see if I found other recommendations.

• Download the Intel SSU (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/18377/25293/intel-system-support-utility-for-windows.html)

• Open the application and click on "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel SSU will take you to the "Summary View."

• Click on the menu where it says: "Summary" to change it to "Detailed View."

• To save your scan: click on "Next"; then "Save."

The Issue started after a windows  11 update.  At first a received error 42, at the end received error 10.

- Tried to do a rollback of the windows update -> not solved

- Installation of the latest drivers -> not solved

- Rollback of the drivers -> not solved

- Disabled AC point + reboot pc, enable ac point again -> not solved

At the end i deleted all network adaptors, alse the bluetooth  adaptor + reboot -> issue solved !!!

After the reboot the all the adaptors were reinstalled, and had to connect to the AC point again
