Hello!
I have a device I made that operates on Windows 10. I have an Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 WiFi card installed onto this device.
I am trying to use the DRTU (2019) application, but I'm having some confusion with the set up instructions.
For the device I have - a single Windows system with the Intel WiFi card already installed - would I be using a local or remote connection?
When I attempt to establish a local connection, I leave the remote ID blank and leave the port as "8751", it says "Unable to connect". Is it possible I should use a different port?
When I attempt to establish a remote connection, there are a few things I need clarification on.
Referring to this photo and the set up I described previously, would my device (that has the Wifi card installed) be the DRTU client? And what would be the DUT? Does the DUT need to be a Chrome machine? There were installation instructions, but I didn't understand what system/device to perform these operations on:
To summarize, if I am using a single Windows system with the Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 installed, do I use a local or remote connection? If I am using a local connection, what port should I be using or how can I troubleshoot my current set up? If it is a remote connection, would my device (with the WiFi card installed) be the DRTU client or DUT(server)?

Hello,
I am asking on behalf of a company. We need to do a compliancy test where we test the Wifi card in constant transmit mode. We were told DRTU could be a good application for this.
The summary you provided is good. I am good with communicating via email.
Thank you.
