I activated MAC randomization on my WIFI-Adapter with:
set randomization enabled=yes interface=”Wi-Fi”
It is activated as show randomization replies:
Address randomization has been enabled on interface “Wi-Fi”.
But if i disconnect and reconnect using this interface adapter or even deactivationg Wi-Fi and reconnect afterwards i still have the same (default) MAC-adress.
Is 8260 not supporting MAC randomization?
(Tried to google it, but seems that i am the first one with that question)

Just discovered that:
show wirelesscapabilities
tells me that MAC-Randomization is supported.
So i am more curios why i could not alter my WLAN-MAC Address.

Did you reboot after making this parameter change? If not, try doing so...

Regarding Microsoft documentation it should be satisfying to reconnect to network. But yes I restartet both. WIFI Adapter as well as the complete system. Has no effect. Still the same MAC.

Hello OSch1784,
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
In order to better assist you, please provide the following:
1. Run the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) and attach the report generated:
- Open the application, check the "Everything" box, and click on "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel® SSU will take you to the "Summary View".
- Click on the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
- To save your scan, click on "Next", then "Save".
- Use the option under the reply window to attach the report to the thread (Drag and drop here or browse files to attach).
2. Did this feature work before? If yes, do you remember making any changes before the issue started?
3. Can you provide the output of the show wirelesscapabilities command where it shows the MAC randomization support?
Regards,
Sebastian M
