I am running Windows 10 on a new factory HP Envy desktop that came with the Intel wireless 3165 chipset. I have downloaded the latest drivers as of 12/11/2015 version 18.21.0.2 dated 9/24/2015.
The wifi adapter otherwise works fine but when the computer goes into sleep mode, the wifi adapter stops working when the computer wakes up. I have to manually go to the adapter settings, disable, and enable. It then connects to wifi and continues to work properly. Obviously this is a problem and needs to be fixed. Any ideas on what could be causing it?
thanks

Hello JoeG2015,
In this particular case there are some steps you can try in order to resolve this issue:
1. On Windows® 10, go to Control Panel >> All Control Panel Items >> Power Option >> System Settings >> Shutdown Settings and uncheck Turn on fast startup.
2. On control Panel >> All Control Panel Items >> Power Options - Select create a power plan and set it to Maximum Performance on both Battery and Pluged in.
