Hello,
I have been experiencing Event 7021 and 6062 consistently for the past several months, which affects the ability to stay in constant internet connection while browsing, gaming, etc. I have checked to ensure it is not a problem with my ISP, or anything other than my computer causing these problems for that matter.
For some background, I have a MSI MPG Z490 GAMING EDGE WI-FI motherboard that has an Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX201 160MHz adapter. The events happen periodically, sometimes every few minutes to every 10-15 minutes, starting with a 7021 event, followed shortly by a 6062 (source Netwtw10), this causes a brief loss of connection with anything via internet.
The steps I have taken to try and fix this:
1. Ensure AX201 is using the newest drivers with Intel Driver and Support Assistant
2. Updated to Windows 11
3. Failed to update BIOS due to unrelated reasons, but upon contacting MSI support, they told me the updates available to my specific motherboard would not have any affect with this issue
4. Disable packet coalescing, power saving, NS and ARP offload for WoWLAN, and lowered roaming aggressiveness, and change to 802.11n wireless mode for the AX201.
After doing this, I thought for it to be a hardware problem, thus I upgraded with a PCIe Wi-Fi card specifically the TP-Link AXE5400 Wi-Fi 6E Archer TXE75E (or Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6E AX210 160MHz), and I am still running into the same issues with connection; brief loss of connection, and in Event Viewer 7021 followed by 6062, now source Netwtw12. After some time of troubleshooting, I did a clean reinstall of Windows, followed by downloading the correct version of software on the TP-Link website (22.200.2.1) to ensure it uses the correct drivers for the AXE5400 and not the generic ones.
With both the AX201 and AX210, I have done multiple different network resets, disabled automatic updates, and attempted driver installs in Safe Mode. I have also attached the SSU below. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you very much in advance.
