How to improve the network speed.

I have Dell Inspiron 7386 with an Intel AC9560 which is latest drivers/bios/Win10 clean install.

Whenever the PC goes into sleep mode and is woken again the network speed is only 20mbps(1.6Mbps) versus normal speed of approx 300mbps (40Mbps). The speed can be restored by resetting the adapter.

It is only sleep mode and 5G of the dual band

Dell have replaced the motherboard and the wifi adatper (twice).

How can I troubleshoot this problem. I have had Dell support for 5 hrs on a phone line with them remotely diagnosing, but no luck.

Thanks Richard

Hello RCham10,

Thank you for your response.

Is there a specific model number for the Plusnet Hub One AP?

Hi,

No that is all. It is a Sagemcom unit and is a rebadged version of the BT Hub 5.

Hope that helps.

Hello RCham10,

Based on the information provided, it seems that this is related to hardware. We recommend that you contact the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) since they installed the motherboard and wireless adapter.
