I can't install ICPS on my laptop

Hello,

The Intel driver assistant proposed me to install ICPS 40.25.501.145 on my laptop, a Lenovo P1 Gen5.

But the installation will fail with code error 1603 and several popups mentioning access issues with temporary installation files either in AppData\Local\Temp or in Windows\Installer.

I'm using Windows 11 24H2, on that laptop.

Can you help?

Thanks,

Pascal.

Issue solved.

I had old ICPS drivers installed on my laptop.

After removing them and rebooting, the install of the new package went fine.

To remove the ICPS driver, follow this KB: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000093451/wireless/wireless-software.html#primary-content
