IEEE 802.11s and IBSS support

The goal is to make a Wi-Fi mesh network based on IBSS or IEEE 802.11s. Do any of Intel Wi-Fi modules and their drivers support IBSS or IEEE 802.11s? I plan to connect a Wi-Fi module to Raspberry PI 3. So, are the drivers supported in Linux 4.19 (Raspbian 10)?

Thank you very much for your reply.

So, as I have understood correctly Intel does not provide IEEE 802.11s support for their Wi-Fi modules? As I know the website https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/drivers/ is very outdated. What about IBSS support: currently IBSS is supported only for Intel Wireless AC 8260 chipsets and later. Does it mean that the Wi-Fi modules like Wireless-AC 9560, 9462, 9461 and 9260 support IBSS also?

Hello maxf9, You are very welcome, I just received an update on this matter.

Regarding the inquiries on your previous post:

-Starting from the Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 card and later Intel® wireless adapters support IBSS.

-Does Intel® support IEEE 802.11s?

No, we do not support 802.11s in our software stack, we do not have that support on our firmware or our driver.
