Hello everybody. Sorry for my english.

I have Dell Inspiron 13 7347 (core i3, ram upgraded to 8gb, latest bios). I replace standart dell wifi card with intel 7265 ac/b/g/n dual band wireless (m.2). Install latest intel drivers, but there is warning triangle and error 10 in device manager at wi-fi card and bluetooth adapter. And no wifi networks aviable. I try different version of drivers on Windows 10 x64 and Windows 8.1 x64. Try download from dell support and intel site, but problem isn't solved.

When I installed driver for bluetooth, I recived error 10 (power problem) too.

Please, help me.

PS: I try work with it in Remix OS and card work normal.

Hello NIIL,

The Code 10 error in Device Manager in Windows indicates that the device cannot start. This error is often related to driver issues, compatibility, or even hardware problems.

We strongly advise you to contact the http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/topics/OEMs.html Computer Manufacturer Support to determine if the Intel® Wireless-N 7265 is supported in your PC, and any recommendations they may provide about its installation.

We would like to inform that Intel does not support, nor recommend, custom integration of Intel® Wireless Adapters. They can only be installed by the manufacturer or its authorized representative. Please check the following documents for more information about this:

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking/000005846.html Why Doesn't My Laptop Recognize My New Intel® Wireless Adapter?

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking/000005687.html Regulatory Information Regarding Hardware Installation or Upgrade

If the error is shown even after a clean installation of https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26214/Intel-PROSet-Wireless-Software-and-Drivers-for-Windows-10?product=84178 Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software and Drivers for Windows® 10 [19.2.0], then it is possible that a driver from the original adapter, or other software may be causing a conflict with the Intel drivers and software.

Please contact http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04 Dell support so they can let you know if the PC is compatible with this adapter, and the best method to remove old software before installing the 7265 drivers.

Regards,

Jonathan.

Hello NIIL,

This type of error is normally related to driver issues. You can try uninstalling and deleting the driver, then installing the version 19.2.0 linked before.

If the issue persists at this point, it may indicate a conflict with other drivers from the OEM, or a compability issue. In either case, we strongly advise you to check with Dell about this.

Hello there ,

I have Intel wireless dual band 7265 (not D) device in my HP envy notebook. I just installed Linux as a dual boot. My wifi has not been working in Linux since the installation. I tried many ways and also installed the necessary drivers for my Linux kernel 4.+ version in /lib/firmware of my linux. Still the wifi is not working. When I use the command rfkill unblock all though it says there is a soft lock on my wireless card. Can someone who has sound technical knowledge or work around this help me ?

Hello NIIL,

Can you confirm if the adapter worked well with the new OS installation?

Additionally, we would like to inform that a new driver has just been released for the Intel® Wireless-N 7265. You can try these steps to do a clean installation:

1. Download the generic driver version from https://downloadcenter.intel.com/ Intel® Download Center:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26240/ Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software and Drivers for Windows® 10 [19.10.0]

2. Go to Control Panel, Programs and Features and Uninstall "Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software", if it is installed. When prompted, choose the option to "Discard settings".

3. In Control Panel, Device Manager, Network Adapters, right click on the Intel® Wireless-N 7265 and Uninstall it. Make sure you mark the option to "Delete the driver software for this device".

4. Reboot the PC or scan for hardware changes, check device manager and if an older wireless driver is detected and installed, repeat the actions to uninstall and delete it as well. Repeat this process until the OS does not allow deleting the driver, or until the controller shows as Unknown Device.

5. Install the Intel Wireless driver. During the first steps of PROSet/Wireless installation, make sure to customize the installation and install all driver components.

Regards,

NIIL,

The steps provided before should work for a clean driver installation. It is worth to mention that the Windows* inbox drivers cannot be deleted from the system, however, you should be able to install the Intel Drivers with no problems.

If the issue persists after this, it may be an OS problem, or due to compatibility. We advise you to check with http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04 Dell Support for additional assistance.

We would like to remind you that we do not support custom integrations. Installation of Intel® Wireless Adapters can only be performed by the manufacturer or its authorized representative to prevent this type of issues.

Regards,
