I just purchased a Lenovo ThinkPad W510 to be used as a MS SharePoint development server. It came with Windows 7 installed. I needed Windows Server 2008 R2 installed to run MS Hyper-V. Got that all working updating the Intel 82577LM Gigabit on board nic. I'm now trying to get the built in wireless /docs/DOC-5246 Intel® Centrino® Ultimate-N 6300 working with the installed base Windows Server 2008 R2. I installed the 64 bit Windows 7 driver that came with the installed Windows 7. The driver for the /docs/DOC-5246 Intel® Centrino® Ultimate-N 6300 installs and shows green bars but I see zero pacets being sent or received. So I'm not connecting to my wireless AP. I did not see a driver for Windows server 2008 R2 on the Intel site for the /docs/DOC-5246 Intel® Centrino® Ultimate-N 6300 . Is there another driver I can use to get the wireles working with Windows Server 2008 on my ThinkPad W510?
