Hi, I have Intel centrino Ultimate-N 6300 wireless card, but it works only 54Mbps speed, Drivers are latest from intel support site, in device manager I see only a/b/g mode. Where is wireless N mode gone? I update drivers, configure my router: (Linksys E1000) if I leave only N mode, I cannot connect to router at all with wireless...

Somebody can help me?

Did you install the wireless card on your computer yourself?

This card has 3 antenas.

I guess your router got some problems too. Would it be the faultness of the DD-WRT version?

It can be. I think I need try to connect another computer with wireless n card to check the router. It's no new DD-WRT firmware version.

SAD! It should be the problem of the router.

If you change 802.11n channel width for band 2.4 from 20MHz only to auto, does it work fine?

Though the end result is the same, different manufacturers are using different methods to have the user pick their 20/40 channels.

·Recent builds of DD-WRT have you choose the 20MHz Control channel and by specifying whether the Control channel is the "upper" or "lower" portion of the 40MHz block. You may need to toggle between upper/lower to unlock the channel you wish to use.

·Some stock firmwares have you choose a Main and Aux.

·It wouldn't surprise me if some had you also choose a main and then the center frequency of the 40Mhz channel.

Channels are specified by their center frequency but instead of displaying (center of main 20 MHz + center of additional 20MHz) the devs opted to display it as (center of main 20MHz + center of 40MHz).

Thanks PudgyOne, I've tryed these settings, but still no luck... That number (54Mbps) is driving me crazy...

The router is 1 maybe 2m from computer.

When changing channel width for band 2.4 from 20MHz only to auto, working fine.

channel set to either 1, 6, or 11?

Advanced Settings

WMM is required to be on for any Wi-Fi Alliance Certified N product. By default WMM is already on but many users disable it which may prevent N rates or lower throughput.

I haven't tried a DD-WRT firmware yet.

Is it your router a v1.0 or v2.0?

You could try a 4MB flash DD-WRT.
