Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 Refused to install new version.

Hello!


I'm been having issues with installing new driver for my Intel R Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265, The currently version is 20.70.30.1

 

My Intel Driver & Support Assistant can't install it due error popup said: "A newer product version is already installed."

 

 

My laptop is Dell Latitude 7280 for these who wonder.

 

Any help is appreciate!

The latest driver for AC8265 is version 22.200.2. Download the exe file and double click on it, to install driver manually.

I will add that version 22.200.2 is the final version that supports your adapter. Any subsequent version is not for your adapter and will either do nothing or fail as you have seen. I would use the hide feature to hide any update that iDSA identifies now or in the future.
