We are using the Intel PROSet/Wireless Enterprise Software and it is very useful. How to get the same implementation for adapter preference on Windows 10? The current message is that is only available in Windows 7.

Hello DSwander,
In Windows® 10, most of the wireless features are controlled at the OS level for enhanced security. Tools like the Intel WiFi Connection Utility, for example, are no longer an option.
A silent installation can still be performed using the https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26239 Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software and Drivers for IT Admins. You can find more details regarding the silent installation process in the following article: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking/000005730.html Silent Installation of Intel® WiFi Driver and Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software.
Please let us know if this has answered your question.
Best regards,
Carlos A.

The Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 adapter does not have the advanced option to "Disable upon wired connection". Can Intel provide support on disabling the wireless adapter when docking? Is there a preferred way to do this in Windows 10 with the Intel 7265 Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 adapter?

Hello DSwander,
The feature you're referring to is called http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking/000005972.html Adapter Switching. And in previous versions of Windows* it was accessed using the Intel® PROSet/Wireless WiFi Connection Utility. However Windows® 10 does not allow third party tools to manage these features.
You can refer to the following Microsoft* article for instructions: https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/networking/2015/08/14/adjusting-the-network-protocol-bindings-in-windows-10/ Adjusting the Network Protocol Bindings in Windows® 10.
Also in some systems, you may be able to change the adapter priority directly from the BIOS. If that option is available, it would be the preferred method. However you would need to check with your computer manufacturer for confirmation or more information.
