Background:
The driver is latest release 23.140.0.3.
None of the following methods helped, including re-install driver and reboot.
The computer is ASUS GU605C.
I have tried to re-install win 11 system once, but the problem was just solved temporally and appearred again.
I have noticed that everytime the internet diconnect with an error (event ID 5055 from source Netwaw16) and a following warning that the WLAN expansion module has been deactivated.
These events ID in shown order have appeared every time with diconnection. That information from kernal power shows "standby connection status: disconnected Reason: NIC compliance" (machine translated)
In addition, it seems I have similar issue in this post Netwaw16 Has determined that the network adapter is not functioning; adapter stopped working - Intel Community . Wish it could be helpful!
I wonder whether it is a problem in software or hardware and hope any suggestions could be given. Many thanks!

Hello naht,
Please proceed with the steps on clean installation steps below (best to perform while the system is not connected to the internet at all):
Step 1: Download and save the latest OEM driver, version V23.130.1.1 (select your system model and OS version, then locate the driver from "Networking").
Step 2: Uninstall the Wi-Fi driver.)
Note: Windows* may have an inbox Wi-Fi driver that came preinstalled on your system. These types of driver can't be uninstalled (you won't see the "Delete the driver software for this device" option). Proceed to the next step if you start seeing the same version of the driver installed automatically after performing the uninstall process. The video above provides additional details on inbox drivers.
a. Go to Device Manager.
b. Expand the Network Adapters category.
c. Right-click your Intel Wireless Adapter and choose to uninstall it.
d. Make sure to the option to Delete the driver software for this device is selected.
e. Repeat steps A through D until the option to Delete the driver software for this device is greyed out.
Restart your computer (Make sure it will not auto-reconnect to the internet).
Step 3: Driver installation.
Locate the driver you downloaded back in Step 1.
Right-click the file you downloaded and select the option to Run as administrator.
For additional information refer to the video above.
Step 4. Perform a cold reboot after installing the driver.
Laptop cold reboot with removable battery
- Turn off the laptop, and unplug the power cord.
- Disconnect any peripheral devices then remove the computer from any port replicator or docking station.
- Remove the battery from the computer.
- With the battery and power cord unplugged, press and hold the Power button for approximately 15 seconds.
- After you drain the capacitors, re-insert the battery, then plug in the power cord. Leave peripheral devices disconnected.
- Turn on the laptop.
Laptop cold reboot with a non-removable battery
- Turn off the laptop.
- Disconnect the AC adapter.
- Disconnect all nonessential peripheral devices, such as printers, scanners, external hard drives, and USB flash drives.
- With the AC adapter unplugged, press and hold the power button for approximately 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the AC adapter then turn on the computer.
If your system is still showing the error after this, contact your original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for additional support.
I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.

Hello naht,
Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.
To better understand the issue and provide an effective recommendation, please share the following key information:
- Is the wireless adapter (Intel® Wi-Fi 7 BE201) pre-installed on your ASUS GU605C device, or is it an upgrade component?
- Has this component functioned properly before, or is this an out-of-the-box issue?
- If it worked fine previously, what changes were made before the issue arose?
- Please provide a screenshot of the status in Device Manager > Network Adapter > Wireless BE201 Properties.
Additionally, I would greatly appreciate it if you could share your system configuration so I can thoroughly check and offer an accurate solution. This could be possible by downloading the Intel® System Support Utility for Windows* software. When the download is complete, launch SSU.exe.
- Scan: Check the box Everything.
- Click Scan.
- Review: When finished scanning, click Next.
- Click Save. *Attach the SSU log file as you reply.
I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.

Hello JeanetteC,
This adapter is pre-installed and only functioned properly at its first several hours since I received the laptop.
I have checked if there are out-box factors but none of my other devices have similar problem, included another laptop, and I also replaced my wifi with a better one that supports wifi6/7 but the issue still exists.
Mostly, while the issue arose, I was downloading or playing video games. I also found a method to alleviate but not solve this problem:
Switch the wifi mode to 802.11n and 2.4G channel width to 20MHz.
The result would be longer seperation (between each disconnection) or less probability to disconnect, though much slower internet.
Here is the screenshot for the properties of 320MHz. The status shows: This device is working properly.
Wish any idea of this issue could be found. Thanks for helping!

Hello naht,
Please perform a clean installation of the latest OEM driver (version V23.130.1.1). Additionally, review the Recommended Settings for 802.11ax Connectivity. Let me know the outcome.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.

Hello JeanetteC,
I have tried them both but the problem still exists, especially when I connect 5Ghz which would disconnect about every 1 minute.
Additionally, I have tried to download 23.130.1.1 from intel website (Simply because I forgot to click this link V23.130.1.1), but it is weird that everytime after I uninstall the OEM driver, the install program does not allow me to continue since "already a driver detected". Thus, I guess I could not completely unintall the driver from driver manager: some corrupted driver pieces maybe?
For Recommended Settings for 802.11ax Connectivity, I have tested 802.11ax, be, ac and n, but only in 802.11n the stability seems better.
