Yesterday i bought new Acer 1825p notebook with Intel WI-FI Link 1000 adapter inside. On your site says it can handle 802.11n standart. But in my notebook it appear as Intel WIFI 1000 BG and operates only at 802.11bg speeds. At this moment (01 dec 2010) 802.11n standart is fully legalize in our country (Russia). So is there will be a patch to obtain full fuctiontality of this card?
Thank you!

Don't see anything indicationg it should support N on this link
The 'Intel WiFi Link 1000 comes in several version. Some support the draft version on the N spec and some support just the B\G version.

About the only thing I can think of you could try is to update the driver from the support site.
Someone else may have addtional thoughts?

I think that this card is electrical identic. Also i think that in some version of cards 802.11n capabilty was limited in the drivers or in eeprom. 802.11n standart was accepted in Russia several month ago and i hoped that intel released some patch or drivers to activate this function.
I emailed them decsription of problem, will see what they answer.
