We are in process of integrating Intel Wireless-AC 9260 M.2 2230 module into custom board with Raspberry Pi CM4. Since the module uses PCIe, the connection has to be PCIe specification compliant. One of the requirements is serial AC decoupling capacitors on the PCIe data pairs. Now, RPi CM4 is specified to have the capacitors on its TX and CLOCK pairs. RX pairs are specified to require the capacitors externally.
The question is, does the 9260 module include the capacitors on-board? And if it does, what are the values of the capacitors? This information is not found on the documentation for the module. PCIe specification says that the Transmitter should have the capacitors and so RPi will have them on its TX pairs and the 9260 would have them on its TX pairs.
The second question is does the 9260 include any other type of termination on the PCIe bus?
