Hi All,

Application Name: IntelProviderDataHelperService.exe
Application Version: 3.1024.606.10
Application Timestamp: 6661efdd
Fault Module Name: IntelProviderDataHelperService.exe
Fault Module Version: 3.1024.606.10
Fault Module Timestamp: 6661efdd

This error message appeared every time I shutdown my laptop. Iam using HP Spectre x360 14 2024.

Please help what to do?

Hello LT7879,

Thank you for patiently waiting for our update.

For a more thorough investigation of the issue, Please try to update the Intel® Management Engine driver. According to the release notes for the Intel® Connectivity Performance Suite, it is essential to have the latest versions of both the wireless driver and the MEI driver installed.

Additionally, as a diagnostic step, you may consider uninstalling the Intel® Connectivity Performance Suite application to determine if the error message continues to appear. This can help ascertain whether the application is the source of the issue.

Regarding the MEI driver update, we recommend to visit the HP website to obtain the latest driver. They should navigate to the Driver chipset section and select the Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver for download.

If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.

Dear Michael

Thank you for your response. May I know what is the latest version of the Intel Management Engine driver? I already have the version 2406.5.5.0 and I couldn't find any MEI driver in the HP website.

And I have uninstalled the ICPS and no more error message.

Thank you

Hello LT7879,

Thank you for the quick update.

The recommended driver should come from your laptop manufacturer.

You may also try to contact them for the latest ME driver that they can provide.

As per our last post, if you uninstall Intel® Connectivity Performance Suite and there is no more error, that means that the app is the cause of the error. You may also check with HP if they recommend other version of Intel® Connectivity Performance Suite since they know the compatibility for their system.

If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.

Dear Michael,

Sorry for the late response.
I have tried to contact HP support, but in their support website, they don't have ME driver and ICPS. So, do I need to install the one from intel website? and do I actually I need ICPS to be installed?

Kindly advise

Thank you

Hello LT7879,

Thank you for the quick update.

If wish want to download the Management Engine, you can try using our driver. Regarding the Intel® Connectivity Performance Suite, its main purpose is to improve PC networking performance by creating a personalized network experience based on each user's unique situation. It automatically prioritizes high-priority traffic over lower-priority traffic to ensure that the user's most critical applications get the best networking performance. Therefore, it is optional for you to use it.

If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.

Hello LT7879,

I apologize for the inconvenience this issue might have caused you and for the delay in our response in the previous days.

I suggest doing clean remove, reboot the laptop and manual installation with version 30.24.683

Here's the link for reference

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000093451/wireless/wireless-software.html

Kindly share the following:

Software version Collection

Wireless Adapter Hardware ID (DM) :

AX211 Wireless Driver:

ICPS driver package: 30.24.683

>ICPS > Advanced Settings ICPS version:

>Software Components ICPS version:

>Apps & Features ICPS version:

You may also check as well with HP, and this doesn't have ICPS software version to install. The recommended OEM Wi-Fi driver is v23.40.0.4.

Dear Dean

Iam sorry for not responding earlier. I just do a full clean install, and it still give me the same error message. I installed a new ICSP from HP website with version 4.1024.711.5  but the error message still appears. Any suggestions what to do? The IntelProviderDataHelperService.exe version is 4.1024.711.5

Thank you
