Intermittent connection on Surface PRO 7 with Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX201 160MHz - Network adapters

The latest Microsoft driver package and October Windows 10 update, has the driver v22.80.0.9. But getting intermittent connection to a SSID with Radius certificate, all other SSID's are fine.

Updated the driver to 22.80.1.1 (Latest Intel), and the issue still happens, but if I rollback to v22.40.0.7 all Wi-Fi connections work!

This issue has been seen on all Pro7's that have been updated with the October 2021 patch!

You are correct. I was incorrect in the DNS finding. I did not find a way to edit my post to remove that information.

I have a four day test running over the long weekend with hard coded IP addresses on both Dell and Surfaces. I am expecting no drops since the AP and laptop never disconnect from each other, the laptop just loses its dynamic IP addresses. We will see. I will post results Monday. This would be an unacceptable solution or workaround, but it does provide data and backs up what we are seeing in the packet captures which is the DHCP handshake never completes. This test cuts DHCP out of the equation.

I have cases with Intel, Microsoft and Cisco and have submitted packet captures to all. I have 300+ affected units.

I also have this problem with my Surface laptop 3 and hp probook. Both have the AX201 chip with latest intel driver provided by Microsoft (22.110.1.1). I found out that if I set '802.1n/ac/ax wireless mode'  to '3. 802.11ac' in the driver properties. Then I can connect to radius Wi-Fi.

Without this setting-change I cant connect or even get a request to supply credentials on my laptops.

I use a Ubiquiti wifi6 pro access point with the latest firmware. Also I use a Windows server2022 with radius.

Please release a fix for this problem!

I also have the same issue.

Large transfers cause a disconnect.  Streaming does as well.
