Hello irvsp,
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities. I am sorry to know that you are having issues with your Intel® Killer™ Wi-Fi 6 AX1650.
In order to better assist you, please provide the following:
1. Is this the original adapter that came pre-installed on your computer or did you change/install the adapter to this one?
2. Is this a laptop or desktop computer?
3. What is the operating system installed as well as the version and build?
4. Can you share more details about your issue?
Best regards,
Deivid A.

1. Yes, this is the original, PC is a Dell XPS 8940. Still, don't see why this is relevant? It should work no matter what?
2. Desktop. Again, why should this matter?
3. Win 11, V 22H2, Build 22621.1702
4. What more do you need? Acrylic sees the 160Mhz wide SSID, Killer Control Center sees only 80Mhz wide? Same DEVICE and SSID is used by both programs. I guess the screen capture from my Router should help you see what it is sending out?
Any think else you might need?

Hello irvsp,
Thanks for the information provided. Before I investigate this behavior, I would like you to try the following:
1. The error with the bandwidth test in Intel® Killer Control Center can be caused by an outdated version of the Control Center. Try performing a Clean Installation of the Killer Control Center.
- Steps: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000058906/wireless/wireless-software.html
2. If you have an antivirus or firewall application, it may be blocking the speed test applet with an outgoing blocking rule. You may need to add an outgoing exception for the applet speedtest.exe in your antivirus or firewall application. You can find speedtest.exe in C:\Program Files\Killer Networking\Killer Control Center if you installed the Intel Killer Control Center in the default location.

Deivid,
1) Did you not see the first line in my original post?
Killer CC version, 3.1423.302.1 and the Intel Driver and Support claims it is the latest.
2) OK, Speedtest is NOT where you say it is:
Directory of C:\Program Files\Killer Networking
04/05/2023 08:39 AM <DIR> .
05/12/2023 05:37 PM <DIR> ..
05/12/2023 10:01 AM <DIR> Killer Control Center
0 File(s) 0 bytes
3 Dir(s) 81,985,015,808 bytes free
C:\Program Files\Killer Networking>dir speedtest* /s
Volume in drive C is OS
Volume Serial Number is 9A97-C0F4
File Not Found
C:\Program Files\Killer Networking>
I obviously have one though and Killer CC runs one:
I do have one on C: though,
C:\Program Files>dir speedtest*/s
Volume in drive C is OS
Volume Serial Number is 9A97-C0F4
Directory of C:\Program Files
04/27/2023 05:43 PM <DIR> Speedtest
0 File(s) 0 bytes
Directory of C:\Program Files\Speedtest
03/10/2023 10:43 PM 650,752 Speedtest.exe
04/27/2023 05:43 PM <DIR> Speedtest_Data
1 File(s) 650,752 bytes
Total Files Listed:
1 File(s) 650,752 bytes
2 Dir(s) 81,883,463,680 bytes free
Clearly, it is NOT the same one:
So, from both of those, let us dispense with a Firewall or A/V blocking anything. If it were, Acrylic would be too.
Can you just "investigate this behavior" rather than throwing things out at me? I am not a dummy, and this has been going on for a long time. I wasn't too worried before, I only had from my ISP service of 400/20Mbps, but now it is 1000/40Mbps and I'm trying to wring out every last bit of speed to some of my devices that can use the 160Mhz wide channel.
I think that Acrylic has PROVED it is there. Killer CC can NOT determine this. So there is only 2 reasons why probably:
- The CC s/w can not recognize a 160Mhz wide channel.
- There is some setting somewhere that effects only the Killer CC s/w.
So, my questions to you are:
- Do you KNOW if the Killer CC S/W does display a 160Mhz wide Channel?
- If it can, why can't I?
- Do you have another way to verify that the Killer CC S/W is working correctly?

Deivid,
Thanks for getting back to me.
As it turns out, Intel's Driver and Support Assist ran the other day and found that d/l for me as well and I did get it:
As you can see, I do have it installed.
However, to me, it still doesn't seem to show a 160 wide SSID?
The DATA presented doesn't show it, and since this is supposed to be @ 60Mhz, I'd expect it to be @ 52Mhz on the low end, and I'd say it is 56Mhz, or an 80Mhz wide SSID?
Again, my reference is the Router setting which is 160Mhz wide with Auto Channel:
Acrylic Home LAN Analyzer:
Acrylic in both the display and Width column show it to be 160Mhz, and the 8 20Mhz channel in the Channel list. Note, to meet the 160 Width, all the channels available in Uni 1 and 2 need to be used.
Clearly not what is seen in the Killer S/W.
Is there MORE info I need to supply?
