Lenovo laptop can't find TP-Link mesh router

I have a Lenovo G70 with wireless Intel driver 18.33.3.2 . The Intel site says I have the most current drivers.  I recently bought a TP-Link Deco X60 mesh router system.  All my other devices can find that network, but my Lenovo won't find it.  I tried updating everything and working through TP_Link tech support, but still nothing.

If anyone can help mr connect ot would be greatly appreciated.

(I do have an older AT&T network running so that I can connect to the internet on this laptop in the meantime.)

MichaelBruce, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.

In order for us to provide the most accurate assistance, we just wanted to confirm a few details about your system:

What is the model of the Intel® Wireless card?

Is this a new computer?

Did you make any recent hardware/software changes besides changing the Router?

The wireless card, did you purchased it separately or did it came installed in the computer?

Which Windows* version are you using?

Does the problem happen at home or work environment?

Any questions, please let me know.

Regards,

Albert R.

MichaelBruce, No problem at all, thank you very much for providing that information.

Could you please provide the SSU report so we can verify further details about the components being used in your platform?

MichaelBruce, Thank you very much for sharing those details.

Just to let you know, we recommend to install the Wireless driver provided by the manufacturer of the computer, since that driver was heavily customized by them work with your specific platform.

I looked in Lenovo's web site and the proper Wireless driver version for your system is 19.0.0.9, please try a clean installation of that driver:

Do you have the option to get in contact directly with TP-Link, to confirm that the Router is using the optimal settings to get connected with the Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 card and to check if there might be a firmware update available for the Router?
