Linux WiFI BE201 drivers

Hello,

I have bought a new laptop from Lenovo which had pre-installed a BE201 module. As Linux is required for my workflow, I was trying to get WiFi running, but unfortunately the module is not yet supported by iwlwifi, only bluetooth as far as I know. As Linux support is stated on the product specification, please provide me with the required driver/firmware modules, especially as it is not a tester-device but readily available for customers.

Kind regards

The driver is already available, the a recent version of "linux-firmware", and preferrably also a recent kernel, has to be used. Tested it a few months ago under Arch Linux and it worked pretty well. Ubuntu had its own patches, see: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-firmware/+bug/2075564

I am in a similar situation, desperately searching for linux driver. Looking at the support page, both be200 and be202 is supported, it seems pretty wired to me that the driver of be201 is missing. please update the driver...

100%. Just discovered I can't use this for Linux, which is breaking my workflow. Please get driver support added to Linux
