Missing Bluetooth

Hi,

I moved house 6 weeks ago and when I set up my PC Windows performed an update, since then I have no bluetooth. It sometimes will connect briefly when I boot up but then drops out. I have tried updating drivers but get a message saying that a newer version of the driver is already installed and then I can't proceed any further.

Please can you advise me on either how I can update or rollback drivers to previous version so that I can use my Bluetooth keyboard and mouse?

Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

Hhmmm, this sounds suspiciously like what you would see if the 2.4GHz antenna was damaged or disconnected, which would severely limit (to inches) the range for 2.4GHz WiFi and Bluetooth.

Are you seeing the Intel Wireless Bluetooth entry completely disappear from Device Manager? Alternatively, does it appear but there is an error code? Same goes for the Intel Wireless device's entry over in the Network Adapters section.

Hope this helps,

Thanks for the reply. Sometimes it comes up but says that it is unable to start due to lack of power, othertimes it doesn't show at all and occasionally it starts up just fine but doesn't stay working for long. My WiFi is working fine

WiFi working fine may mean nothing if you are connecting using the 5GHz band, which utilizes a separate antenna.
