Hi folks, my wifi driver on intel core m3 7y30 (Surface pro 2017 Windows 10) is missing completely from Device Manager. I would have tried to update the driver if it had been in Device Manager but it isn't. I need to find a compatible wifi driver to download and install. Could anybody help a 73 year old sift through all that is out there on the web to find a solution to my problem. Thanx.

You can try the driver here, but you really should be getting the driver from Microsoft.

It doesn't appear that the Surface Pro 5 utilizes a Wireless solution from Intel. It is listed as using a Marvell AVASTAR device.
There are instructions here: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/surface/forum/all/surface-pro-5-no-wifi-and-missing-drivers/fa4cf0c5-849a-4e10-bf59-5f50afef085f and here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/surface/wi-fi-settings-are-missing-in-surface-7083cc46-be13-9dff-0af5-43904115a0f9 that might help you through the diagnostic process.
If this doesn't get you anywhere, you are going to have to try contacting Microsoft Support.
Hope this helps,
