Hello. I appreciate any helpful comments. I purchased an Intel AC 7260 wireless adapter to use in a new build desktop computer. The sales person stated it will work in the motherboard PCIe 3.0 X 1 card slot. All that I received was the adapter itself - no instructions or hardware including no internal antenna. I need to find a source for a desktop internal antenna for my AC 7260 HMW. Thanks again.

If so, you have the OEM packaged, so you need your own antenna. These may be available on http://click.intel.com/ Click Intel to Purchase Computer Spare Parts and Technology Books
In my opinion, for a desktop PC, I would have gone with something like this: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA3FA4HX3911&cm_re=intel_wireless_adapter-_-33-106-251-_-Product Intel 7260HMWDTX1 Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 for Desktop IEEE 802.11ac, IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n PCIe x1 Up to 867/300Mbps Wir…
If you have the option of getting something else, you may want to consider doing so.
