Hi,
I have a X230 that I just updated to Windows 8.1, which was a mistake... My wifi was working before, but now, it doesn't connect to anything anymore. It sees the different network available, and when I try to connect to any of them, it doesn't end up connecting.
I restored the laptop to a point of restoration that I created just AFTER installing windows 8.1, and it worked again... for few hours. Then it was down again. I didn't touch it in between, didn't install anything.
I have a Intel Centrino N 6205, which always had some connection issues, but now, there is no way anymore to connect.
I did flush the DNS already, and it appears connected after for few seconds, but there is no way to access internet even during this time.
Your help would be more than welcomed.
Quick update :
After uninstalling Intel Proset, and uninstalling the wifi driver, restarted my computer, it worked for about 30 minutes after, without me having install Intel Proset again. Once it stopped working, I reinstalled Intel Proset, and now it keeps connecting and disconnecting, all the time. It stays connected for about 15 secondes maximum...
Feedbacks? ideas?
My computer also has WiFi-issues after upgrading to 8.1. Under Windows 8 everything was fine. I have a 4965AGN.

Thank you for letting me know. I don't think anybody cares about our problem... Let's wait!
Irwi, I replied in the thread you created. Your wireless adapter model is different.
Vincenttbt, uninstalling the driver from device manager usually has different effect.
You may also try resetting the TCP/IP stack. Open cmd as administrator and run the commands below, then restart.
Netsh int ip reset
Netsh winsock reset
For Windows* 8.1 we have this newer driver: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23258 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23258
