No Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi adapter.

Currently I can not access internet via Wi-Fi. It appears a Wi-Fi adapter is not present in the Devices Manager so I tried several times to install a new Wi-Fi driver from the intel website. After the wizard says the driver was successfully installed but it does not appear in the Manager.

To better assist you, please provide us with the following information:

 

  • Was your computer/device able to connect to a Wi-Fi network before?
  • Are other devices in your environment able to connect to a Wi-Fi network?
  • Please generate a system report with the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) and attach it to this thread to gather more information about your system.

 

  1. Intel® SSU Download link
  2. Open the application and click on "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel® SSU will take you to the "Summary View".
  3. Click on the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
  4. To save your scan, click on "Next", then "Save".
