I recently purchase a new PC using Gigabyte x570 Aorus Elite Wifi.
I notice in Device Manager there are several device listed under "Other Devices" that seem to point to my Intel connections.
I am totally confused on how to remedy these devices and Gigabyte isn't much help. Could someone look over the attach files and give me some direction as to what I am seeing and how to remedy the "Other Devices"

This isn't a Windows 11 thing. I have been seeing the Other category since I started using Windows 10 (and Bluetooth), so for a few years now.

Hello Stepper,
Please provide the following information:
- Was Windows recently installed in this system?
- Are you trying to pair Bluetooth devices?
- Do you see any error code in Device Manager > Network adapter > Intel® Wireless-AC 9260? If there is an error, there should be a yellow sign on it.
- Is this the original wireless adapter that came preinstalled in the board?
As well, you can try installing the latest Bluetooth drivers provided by Gigabyte https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/X570-AORUS-ELITE-WIFI-rev-1x/support#support-dl-driver-wlanbt
If that does not work, please try with our latest drivers (22.120.1) https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19351/windows-10-and-windows-11-wi-fi-drivers-for-intel-wireless-adapters.html
Keep in mind this may not be related to the wireless card itself, instead, this could be related to paired devices (iPhone, tablets, headphones, etc.) and Bluetooth services.

I have the same issue here.
AAP Server and Wireless iAP appears in "Other devices". I've just installed the latest "Intel® Wireless Wi-Fi Drivers for Windows® 10 and Windows 11*" 23.90.0
WiFi-23.90.0-Driver64-Win10-Win11.exe

This thread, and the responses provided by Intel are simply RIDICULOUS.
I have these exact two items showing in the exact same place.
I have had this issue when upgrading PC's in the past, and it has ALWAYS been an INTEL driver.
In the past I have managed to locate the correct INTEL driver and make it work and these devices go back to their correct headings.
On this occasion, I simply cannot find them like the other posters here.
INTELS responses and then lack of them is completely unacceptable.
REPLICATE THE **bleep** ISSUE AND RESOLVE IT. It's not rocket science. Direct some of the gazillions of dollars in profits you make from us brand loyalits into identifying and resolving these PERSISTENT issues.
This has been a KNOW issue for decades. Ever since bluetooth and wifi have been around!
I am a relatively extensively trained and experienced computer and technology professional. If I can't resolve the issue, what hope has Joe Normal got?
Step Up Intel. Do your **bleep** job. Identify the fault with your products and offer the solution. FIRST TIME. NOT YEARS LATER after MANY people and versions have issues.

These are, in fact, unresolved protocols offered by attached Apple device(s) (iPod, iPhone, iPad, etc.). AAP stands for Apple Accessory Protocol. iAP stands for Interface Accessory Protocol. They will not be resolved until you install the associated driver(s)/software from Apple.
So, Mr. Potty-Mouth, these are not Intel devices/protocols and Intel has no responsibility for their resolution. If you had taken a minute to do an internet search or two, way (way!) less time than it took you to generate this unappreciated rant, you would have discovered this information for yourself.

You have assumed I didn’t know what you are conveying, which honestly contains more helpful informations than the ENTIRE thread summed up in a single paragraph.
And you misunderstood the point of forums, questions and SOLUTIONS.
When a question is asked, a SPECIALIST from that forum should read, understand and respond with the appropriate answer, regardless of if the issue is theirs or not. They should explain to the OP where the problem originates from, replicate the issue, step through the resolution, and explain what they found. Something along the lines of what you did, without the assumptions and conclusions about ones intentions.
In my experience, I have RARELY seen Intel been helpful about a single issue customers have, and MOST of the time, issues are with THEIR bluetooth and wireless cards and drivers.
It seems to be ALWAYS and Intel issue, and the last party to be helpful is Intel themselves.
Its good to see a through and through Intel fan girl come to their defence.

Now, how about telling the internet the answer. Where to find the drivers, how to install them and how your genius can solve the problem for everyone!

Look, it matters not how upset you are with the support you are getting, unprofessional ranting as you did accomplishes nothing. The people at Intel who need to be hearing your opinion are never going to when you are doing it as a rant. There is no chance of the (outsourced) level one support agents escalating a rant.
Ten+ years ago, Intel had the best support around, bar none. Volunteers like myself were only there to fill holes in the coverage; get some needed expertise down into level one support. Fact is, Intel's support, as much as we are unhappy with it, is still one of the best around. It doesn't say much; this is really a message about the degradation of the entire industry.
