Problem with Wi-Fi driver version 23.150.0

Hello everyone!

Since the last Wi-Fi/Bluetooth driver update, I've been unable to connect to the internet.

The Device Manager confirms that both devices aren't working.

So I downloaded the previous version (23.140 for Wi-Fi) in order to reinstall them after uninstalling the new drivers.

Unfortunately, I can't uninstall the new drivers. The procedure proposed by Intel (which, unfortunately, didn't see fit to provide users (and customers!) with an uninstallation tool!) doesn't work!

As a result, I can't reinstall the old versions of the drivers; they refuse to install them due to the "presence of a more recent version."

Since the drivers aren't available in a format that allows them to be uncompressed (zip, etc.), I can't force an installation using the Windows "Have disk" procedure.

So I'm completely stuck!

Thank you in advance for your help!

Snoopy

My setup:

Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15IAU7

Motherboard model: LENOVO LNVNB161216

Motherboard chipset: Intel Alder Lake-P PCH

CPU: Intel Core i5-1235U

RAM: 16 GB DDR4

Windows 11 PRO 24H2 latest build

Intel Wireless-AC 9560 Wi-Fi card

Intel Wireless Bluetooth

Snoopy

Hello AC9560,

Thank you for posting in Intel community Forum.

For me to better understand and diagnose the issue further, let me ask you to provide detailed responses to the following questions. This information will help me isolate the problem and determine the most appropriate course of action moving forward.

  1. What is the brand and model of your system?
  2. How did you update the driver?
  3. Can you share the link of the driver that you used?
  4. Can you share a screenshot of the device manager? Click on AC 9560 and check if there is an error on the device.
  5. For me to review the hardware and the installed driver, please help generate the SSU logs of your system. Kindly refer to the link below on how to generate the logs:
