So I have a nuc with bt ac8265 and win 10 1809, latest drivers etc. these bt true wireless does not work, only installs as voice.

Tested on a pc with ac 9560 and latest drivers, and it works fine.

These qualcomm 3026 used to workj before 1809 win 10 , but no luck after.

Any ideas why

Hello mjons, Thank you for posting on the Intel Community. In order to further assist you, please provide the following information: 1. What is the NUC model? 2. Please provide the exact model of the Bluetooth devices. 3. Please run the Intel® System Support Utility for Windows and attach the results to check your system environment. 4. Could you please provide more details of the issue you’re experiencing? What do you mean by it only installs as a voice? Regards, Oscar A. thanks,- my system

  System Model:"NUC7i3BNHX"

     BIOS Version/Date:"Intel Corp. BNKBL357.86A.0076.2019.0219.1646 , 02/19/2019"

Bluetooth driver 20.120.0.3

windows 10 1809 17763.437

headphones are true wireless mavins with qcualcomm 3026 new chip,- mavin web page and qualcomm true wireless

In properties it is impossible to select audio sink for them.

Tested them on an asus laptop with same windows 10 version, and they worked fine with the ac 9560 bluetooth and latest drivers, so it is not the windows versions fault.

tried that, seems the latest qcualcomm tws qcc30xx is incompatible below intel ac 9560 with latest drivers.

mjons, Thank you for your response. Just to confirm, were you able to properly install the drivers provided previously? If you check the "Device Manager", what are the current versions of the Intel® Wireless and Bluetooth drivers installed? If it is possible please provide a screenshot of it? Regards, Alberto R. yes, I installed them and no change. Also uninstalled and let windows install version 21.0.0.4 from 28.02.2019.

So either the qualcomm true wireless chips are incompatible with lower intel than ac9560 chip, or there is some software\driver issue.

The qualcomm chip first connect one earbud, then asks for connection for the other. Maybe its this? I have now tested it on laptops with intel cards like intel ac7260, same problem.

Hello Mjons, Thank you for the updates. Since you're running the latest Windows* 10 build, drivers and BIOS. It seems to be a compatibility issue between the Bluetooth version supported by the device and the wireless adapter of the NUC. After checking the website of the product you have, the Bluetooth version supported by the Ear Pods is 5.0 and the Bluetooth version of the Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 and 7260 is 4.2 and 4.0 and for the Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 9560 is 5.0. Here's the link with the specifications of the Bluetooth device you're using. https://www.mavinlife.com/product_d.php Specifications of the wireless adapters: Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 (Bluetooth 4.2) https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/94150/intel-dual-band-wireless-ac-8265.html Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 (Bluetooth 4.0) https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/75439/intel-dual-band-wireless-ac-7260.html Intel® Wireless-AC 9260 (Bluetooth 5.0) https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/99445/intel-wireless-ac-9260.html Hope this helps! Hello Mjons, Thank you for the updates. As long as the other one work without any issues, it could be a hardware issue of the device. I'd highly recommend you to contact the manufacturer for its support. Best regards, Oscar A. Intel Customer Support Technician Under Contract to Intel Corporation
