Attempting a wireless connection from my laptop to our home network. In ProSet/Wireless, network is visible on the Wireless Networks list. Clicking Connect brings up the Setup Wizard. Enter DeviceOwnershipPassword, Wizard retrieves access point wireless settings. Enter AccessPointPassword, Wizard starts registration process, says failed to get wireless settings, configuration failed.
Tried turning off security on the router. Then the wizard completes, says successfully connected, but the connection is not completed.
Laptop OS is Windows XP. ProSet version is 11.1.1.0 with plugin 11.1.1.7. Router is Linksys E2000 with SecurityMode = WPA2 Personal.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi,
Instead of connecting through networks list, cna you try creating a profile and try connecting with a profile?
To create a wireless profile, clk on Profiles button on main Connection Utlity screen.
Then click on Add and create a profile.
Thanks
