You really need to talk to the manufacturer of your laptop (Asus) and find out if there are any impediments to this change.

 

My opinion is that, if you can, you should be upgrading to the AX200 module. In addition to matching the raw performance gain of the 9260, it adds support for Wireless-AX and WiFi 6.
