Hi all,
We have a varitey of laptop models mostly with the Intel be200 / 201 and ax211.
Drivers are a mix of:
- 23.130.1.1
- 23.110.0.5
- 23.30.0.6
There are a lot of OKC failures and authorization failures seen in the Mist portal. The APs used are Mist AP45 (Wi-Fi 6E), so clients connect with ax rates which is what we want.
SSID is WPA2-Enterprise with PMKcaching and OKC.
Some clients dont have issues, and others are constantly disconnecting and reconnecting, extrememly disruptive on teams calls, they can drop for about 30 seconds each time.
Most the authorization failure logs in Mist say the client is not responding.
We are in the process to do packet captures to see if the clients are receiving the packets
In the WLAN report from windows we can see many disconnects with the following reasons:
- The network is disconnected by the driver.
- The network is disconnected due to a policy disabling auto connect on this interface.
Looking at the images.
The green is the working client and the order saved in the security settings of the profile is: CCMP then GCMP
1. authentication AES - Cipher CCMP
2. authentication AES - Cipher GCMP
This client takes about a second to auth
The red is one of the problematic clients and the order saved in the security settings of the profile is: GCMP then CCMP
1. authentication AES - Cipher GCMP
2. authentication AES - Cipher CCMP
This is constantly starting and stopping authentications until the adpater is "L2removed" and readded.
In the red we can see the device shows GCMP but the SSID doenst have that enabled?
Could this be anything? What else can we look at on the device side?
What are the options here? Just go to the latest driver (23.160.0.4) and hope?
Thanks All

Hello Shaunsta,
Thank you for posting on Intel Community Forum.
To address your concern effectively, kindly share the information below.
1. How many units are affected?
2. Were you able to have wireless connection in a normal/expected performance before?
3. Is this the original adapter that came pre-installed in your system, or have you changed/installed a new adapter recently?
4. Have you checked if this issue happens on different networks?
I look forward to your response.
Best regards
